A good meeting on Saturday.  We have covered much of the internet marketing process over the last 12 months so the recordings on the membership site, including our guest speakers, can give members complete guidance to work through the process of setting up their online business.

This gave us the opportunity to step back and take something of an overview.  So Laurie's presentation was about looking after the basics.  Keeping your data and your website protected and safe ..as well as a look at maintaining the quality of what you publish in order to meet the search engine requirements.

The major events of 2010 seem to have been in the Social Media field particularly around the explosion of Facebook.  Bruce's presentation on Facebook developments identified some important dates and developments released by Facebook during the year and discussed how they might affect your marketing efforts.
